Job Title: Experienced Paediatric Clinical Nurse Educator

Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Paediatric Clinical Nurse Educator in a reputable private mental health hospital. The hospital is expanding its capacity to meet patient demand, including new beds dedicated to drug and alcohol services.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care for patients with acute and chronic mental health needs.

Work within a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centred care.

Support patients and families in decision-making, advocacy, and discharge planning.

Supervise and mentor ENs and AINs where required.

Contribute to clinical quality, safety, and improvement initiatives.

Provide clear and confident communication, particularly when discussing risks and patient safety.

Requirements:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum of 3 years' mental health nursing experience
  • Strong clinical and risk management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a private hospital setting, with professionalism and teamwork
