**Clinical Nurse Position Overview**

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse to join our Paediatric Medicine team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, delivering high-quality patient care through telehealth and home visits.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and managing individual care plans, ensuring effective therapeutic interventions and monitoring patient outcomes daily. They will also provide clinical leadership on shifts, guiding less experienced staff and supporting seamless patient flow within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert person-centered paediatric nursing care through telehealth and home visits
  • Assess and manage individual care plans to ensure effective therapeutic interventions and monitor patient outcomes daily
  • Provide clinical leadership on shifts and guide less experienced staff
  • Support service planning, quality improvement, and change management initiatives
  • Contribute to clinical education, mentoring students and new staff

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
  • Minimum of 3 years full-time equivalent post-registration nursing/midwifery experience
  • Proven experience in guiding student nurses, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
