Job Summary

We are seeking a values-driven and proactive Youth Services Manager at our Darwin location. Reporting to the State Manager - Youth Services, this is a permanent, full-time role. The position requires intrastate/territory travel, with potential for interstate travel and some after-hours work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the review and consolidation of Youth services within NT
  • Contribute to the planning and lead the implementation of national frameworks and practice within the region
  • Confirm active support for local mission delivery model in the region and participation in local area leadership teams, ensuring programs are resourced with adequate funding, staff, and resources.
  • Provide operational management of all Youth services within the region
  • Maintain service delivery aligns to all aspects of the Youth Services Model of Care
  • Build and lead a team of social service professionals to deliver services within the region, with a positive team culture that demonstrates the TSA values and mission.
Requirements
  • Degree qualification in social work, welfare, community development or related field and relevant experience, including senior management experience
  • High level understanding of contemporary youth work practices
  • Experience in active membership in community or government bodies within the sector
  • Relevant state Working with Children Check is required
  • Current Drivers Licence
