Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist to join our team at Anglicare/Headspace in Darwin. As a key member of our youth mental health service, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based interventions to young people aged 12-25 and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide single-session-based interventions to young people and their families, using a strength-based, youth-friendly approach.
  • Conduct bio-psycho-social assessments, including risk assessment and safety planning, to inform treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement targeted goal and outcome-focused interventions, working collaboratively with young people and their families.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to young people.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification and minimum 1 year experience in mental health or youth services.
  • Registered with relevant regulatory body as a practicing clinician.
  • Experience working with culturally diverse groups and delivering culturally sensitive interventions.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, with a commitment to professional growth and development.
What We Offer
  • Full-time, 6-month contract with opportunities for extension.
  • Salary range of HPSS 3.1 $80,000 - $84,999.
  • Up to $3,500 for relocation assistance.
  • Eligibility for scholarship and bursary grants through NT PHN.
  • 5 weeks annual leave and salary packaging up to $15,900 annually.
