Personal Care and Support Role

We are seeking Personal Care Assistants to provide high-quality support services to individuals in their own homes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities such as personal care, mobility, and domestic duties.

This is a casual opportunity offering flexibility to work shifts across various hours. You will be required to cover a 7-day roster and will be reimbursed for travel between patients, with additional penalties for weekend work.

The Ideal Candidate

  • You should have recent experience gained in a similar role (at least 2 years), demonstrating compassion, integrity, and a patient-centered mindset.
  • You should exhibit strong cultural sensitivity and a strong cross-cultural communication ability.
  • You should be comfortable working autonomously and keeping to a schedule.

Required Qualifications

  • Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support
  • A current Working with Children or DCSI check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Driver's License and reliable vehicle
  • Certificates for First Aid and CPR
  • Covid-19 vaccination and up-to-date Flu vax
