About this role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Advancement Services Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for leveraging advancement information systems to identify key individuals and cohorts for deeper engagement and connection with the university.

This includes conducting thorough research, providing actionable reports, and recommendations that support the University's strategic engagement with alumni, donors, community members, and key stakeholders.

The successful candidate will ensure accurate and up-to-date constituent information, provide sophisticated background research on notable individuals, organizations, and groups, and identify prospects for strategic activities, programs, and awards.

Utilizing Advancement databases and systems, including Blackbaud RE7 and NXT, this role will work collaboratively as part of a team to manage data, conduct prospect research, and produce high-quality reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage advancement information systems to identify key individuals and cohorts for deeper engagement and connection with the university
  • Conduct thorough research and provide actionable reports and recommendations to support the University's strategic engagement goals
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date constituent information, including demographic and behavioral data
  • Provide sophisticated background research on notable individuals, organizations, and groups
  • Identify prospects for strategic activities, programs, and awards
  • Collaborate with the team to manage data, conduct prospect research, and produce high-quality reports
