About the Role

Boeing Defence Australia is seeking a skilled Document Controller to join their Engineering Strategy & Ops team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining technical data and records in an electronic system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform document control of technical data as part of an overall project plan.
  • Ensure incoming and outgoing project-related data is stored and retrieved in appropriate systems.
  • Manage, track, file and distribute data to the project team, and between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Administer access controls within an electronic document management system.
  • Act as the first point of contact for document queries within the project team and assist and train project staff on record keeping responsibilities.
  • Administer and control data from an information protection, data transfer, retention and archival perspective.
  • Support continuous improvement of data management plans, processes and tools.
  • Maintain effective and positive relationships with stakeholders to support the operation of the platform.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Previous experience in defence or engineering highly desirable.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite and experience using an electronic document management system.
  • Strong communication skills, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities with attention to detail.
