Highly skilled shutdown technicians are required for a major oil and gas facility in Australia.
About the RoleThis is an opportunity to work with a well-regarded contractor delivering shutdowns nationally. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing shutdown and maintenance work on pumps, valves, vessels, and piping systems.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair equipment to ensure efficient operation.
- Conduct inspections and tests to identify potential issues.
- Participate in general mechanical shutdown work.
- Australian Trade Certificate – Mechanical Fitter or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in shutdown/maintenance work.
- Experience with pumps, valves, vessels, and piping systems.
- White Card Gas Test Atmosphere Confined Space, Working at Heights, Face Fit.
- Current Police Clearance.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical & drug/alcohol screen.
- Full Australian working rights.
This project offers excellent rates, FIFO from Brisbane, and a completion bonus for those who work the full roster. Work with a leading contractor delivering shutdowns nationally and enjoy a flat rate $71.16/hr +15% loading for night shifts plus an additional $1/hr project completion bonus.
