Boilermaker - Shutdowns Role Overview
We are seeking experienced boilermakers to join our team for a shutdown opportunity at Callide Power Station B2 outage in Queensland.
The successful candidate will work on various projects and shutdowns, providing expertise in piping setup, structural and welding fabrication, boiler casings, etc. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine maintenance tasks and shutdown activities;
- Conduct quality control checks on work completed;
- Participate in risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies;
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient project delivery;
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Trade Certificate III Engineering - Fabrication or equivalent qualification;
- Welding proficiency in MMAW and FCAW processes to AS/NZS1554.1(SP);
- Industry White Card and Working at Heights & Confined Space tickets (2-year validity);
- Ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills and a commitment to safety;
