Job Title: Continuous Operations Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Continuous Operations Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that is committed to delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate incoming calls to the company's main switchboard and provide support for all sites;
  • Manage emergency situations, including being the Chief Fire Warden during building evacuations, providing first aid, and being the first point of contact for emergencies;
  • Ensure building security by actioning alarms, monitoring CCTV, and coordinating on-site visitors;
  • Monitor temperature levels for SNP equipment across QLD & NSW.

Additional Tasks:

  • Issue test results to referring doctors and hospitals, including critical results that require follow-up;
  • Monitor the Building Management System for the Bowen Hills Laboratory and address any building-related issues;
  • Process patient samples, identify urgent tests, and coordinate with on-call staff;
  • Arrange for couriers and hospital collection staff to collect and deliver samples from hospitals, collection centers, and GP surgeries;
  • Provide general information to patients and referring doctors.

  • The ability to work within a rotating 24/7 roster, including weekends and public holidays, and cover personal and annual leave.
