As a visionary leader, you will drive the strategic vision for our data and analytics service. This role empowers you to explore creative opportunities that harness innovations in data management.

You will support transformative education and research outcomes across Australia and globally through valuable data and analytics services. These include:

- Government reporting for students, staff, and research.
- Survey administration and support for student experience and researcher surveys, including sentiment analysis.
- Data to support major submissions by the university, such as global university rankings.
- Provision of insights to academic and professional staff to support critical activities like course accreditation and balancing student intake.
- Sponsorship and leadership for data and analytics initiatives across the university.

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or related fields, with postgraduate qualifications highly regarded.
  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in developing and managing enterprise data strategy and roadmaps, senior management experience, and/or consulting roles reflecting execution on enterprise strategic priorities.
  • Significant leadership success, including working across business lines at senior and executive levels to influence and effect change.
  • Demonstrable experience in organisational governance, including leading governance committees.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, explaining digital concepts and technologies to leaders and business concepts to technologists.
  • Ability to drive business culture and transformative technology change in a dynamic operating environment.
