The Operations Manager role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the delivery of a high-quality service for commuters. This position requires seven-day coverage to support business operations.
Key responsibilities include leading day-to-day management of wharf and vessel crew, coaching and developing team members to create a high-performance culture, and training and inducting crew in line with competency and assurance frameworks.
Additionally, this role involves managing frontline engagement initiatives, fostering a positive work culture, and ensuring alignment of objectives and activities across the team.
The Operations Manager will also lead the development of compliant rosters, manage changes to the roster, and work closely with the Planning team to understand resource utilization and ensure overtime is effectively managed.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, applicants should possess experience in managing day-to-day transport delivery in the Marine industry, demonstrated experience in managing a seven-day operation, and experience working in a highly regulated compliance environment.

High levels of organization and time management, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks are also essential.
