Job Title: Construction Project Lead

Our ideal candidate will serve as a Construction Project Lead, overseeing the entire construction process from inception to completion. The role involves preparing comprehensive estimates, soliciting projects, and analyzing quotes to confirm scope.

">Responsibilities:
  • Prepare time, cost, labor estimates by analyzing project drawings, specifications, and RFPs.
  • Solicit projects, obtain quotes from subcontractors and vendors.
  • Analyze quotes to confirm scope, develop preliminary construction schedules for estimating and preconstruction.
  • Prepare conceptual estimates and budgets for projects, develop subcontractor relationships.
  • Participate in interviews as required, communicate with owners, architects, engineers, and project teams.
  • Accurately interpret existing conditions during site meetings/walkthroughs.
  • Prepare, coordinate, review, distribute construction estimates.
  • Update unit, labor, material, equipment rates in cost databases.
  • Prepare reports and analysis pertinent to construction estimating as requested.
  • Maintain estimating schedule for all priced projects.
  • Assist accounting and project management to ensure proper turnover of estimates.

The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial construction precon/estimating and be familiar with all aspects of contract administration.

Requirements:
  • Previous commercial construction precon/estimating experience.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and facilitate accurate estimates.
  • Knowledge of construction estimating software and tools.
  • Familiarity with all aspects of Contract Administration.
