Overview

Join a thriving, locally headquartered General Contractor known for exciting, high-profile commercial and industrial builds. We're seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager / Senior Estimator to take a hands-on leadership role in our growing Preconstruction team.

This is not just an oversight position — this is a roll-up-your-sleeves, cradle-to-grave estimating role where you'll:

  • Lead strategy and client relationships
  • Perform detailed take-offs and bid creation
  • Collaborate directly with senior leadership to win work and grow the pipeline

Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of the entire preconstruction process (lead projects cradle to grave)
  • Perform take-offs, create bids, and manage proposals (Conceptual, negotiated, Hard-bid, and Design-Build Projects)
  • Collaborate closely with executives, project teams, clients, and subcontractors
  • Drive project strategy and pricing decisions
  • Play a critical role in winning exciting projects and expanding market presence
  • 5+ years of estimating or preconstruction experience (commercial/industrial GC or developer background preferred).
  • Strong hands-on skills in take-offs, quantity surveying, and bid creation
  • Comfortable leading strategy discussions while actively building estimates
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field (preferred, not required)

  • 5+ years of estimating or preconstruction experience (commercial/industrial GC or developer background preferred)
