Children's Services Practice Manager Position

We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Professional to support the day-to-day management of our Children's Services.

The successful candidate will provide direct support to Directors/Coordinators, take responsibility for the sound financial performance of programs, and ensure high-quality education and care meets National Quality Framework and Standards.

The Professional will develop positive working relationships with peer Managers, site Directors/Coordinators, families, and the school and local community.

This role requires excellent relationship building skills, budget and financial management skills, and current valid driver's licence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct support to Directors/Coordinators in the day-to-day management of their service
  • Take responsibility for the sound financial performance of programs
  • Ensure high-quality education and care meets requirements of the National Quality Framework and Standards
  • Develop positive working relationships with peer Managers, site Directors/Coordinators, families, and the school and local community
Requirements:
  • Qualifications in Children's Services (Degree or equivalent)
  • Relevant leadership and management experience
  • First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis and CPR qualifications
  • Experience working with a Child Care Management System
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of applicable legislation, Education and Care Services National Regulations and National Quality Frameworks: My Time Our Place and Being Belonging and Becoming
  • Budget and financial management skills
  • Current valid driver's licence
