Your leadership and problem-solving skills will be essential in driving decision-making and managing requests from agencies exercising a statutory power of demand.

  • Lead and manage the Information Access team to ensure effective decision-making and management of access applications.
  • Manage requests from agencies exercising a statutory power of demand.
Requirements

You will need to possess a detailed knowledge and understanding of GIPA and privacy legislation and compliance requirements, including managing risk. Your extensive knowledge of related legal development and case law will be essential in providing advice and assistance to senior management and staff on GIPA and privacy matters.

You will also need to possess highly developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, with experience in dealing efficiently and tactfully with internal and external stakeholders. Your ability to negotiate effectively and maintain a strong customer service approach will be critical in this role.
