About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) Lead to join our team at Mineral Resources. As a key member of our IT Security, Risk and Governance team, you will be responsible for the continual monitoring, assessment and improvement of our IAM systems and practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide thought leadership for IAM concepts and oversee administration activities
  • Identify and drive IAM process improvements
  • Act as subject matter expert and point of contact for IAM matters
  • Lead internal reviews of IAM practices for standards compliance and good practice
  • Ensure IAM administrative processes are performed efficiently and effectively
  • Develop and maintain role and attribute-based access models
  • Identify, develop and implement appropriate segregation of duty controls
  • Work with system and application owners to resolve identity and access-related issues
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary degree or certification in IAM, cybersecurity or significant experience in a similar role
  • Extensive experience working on IAM systems, ideally including Microsoft and Okta
  • Experience designing and optimising identity systems, processes and integrations with people and service management solutions
  • Experience designing and implementing role and attribute-based access management systems
  • Experience working with modern and legacy authentication and authorisation protocols
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of data modelling and information architecture concepts
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of integration concepts, including event-driven architecture and APIs
