Deli Counter Professional

We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to fill the role of Part Time Deli Assistant in Melbourne.
- This is a dynamic position that requires working on a rotating roster, which includes weekend work with varying shifts and hours.
- Your responsibilities will include slicing meats and cheeses for package sale and use in assembled products, as well as assembling party trays, meals, pizzas, and salads.
- In addition, you will be responsible for skewering and cooking chickens and ribs in commercial rotisserie ovens, preparing and labeling fish and sushi items, and operating the wrapping machine.
- You will also maintain a clean and safe environment throughout the deli area, adhering to health code standards and sanitation procedures.
- Responsibilities also include performing routine maintenance for machinery, equipment, and restocking ingredients and supplies in the prep area.
- A High School Certificate or higher is required.
- Prior experience in food preparation is highly desirable.
- Food Safety Certification is also preferred.
Maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and customer service is essential to this role.
