Nursing Assistant Role Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate PCA/Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team.

About the Role:

  • Support healthcare professionals in providing high-quality patient care, assisting with daily living activities such as hygiene, feeding, and skin care.
  • Care for patients while maintaining their dignity, security, and self-esteem.
  • Observe and report changes in patient conditions or needs to Registered Nurses/Clinical Nurse Managers.

You will work closely with a clinical team, reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager. To succeed in this role, you must be an effective team player with excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and time management abilities.

We require applicants with experience in a clinical hospital setting, preferably in a Medical/Surgical Ward. You must also demonstrate a caring and compassionate nature.

This is a permanent part-time opportunity with rotational night duty requirements. We welcome applications from individuals with experience working with dementia patients.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a clinical hospital setting, particularly in a Medical/Surgical Ward.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Certificate III Patient Care Assistant or similar (desirable).
