Technical Product Owner

About this role
This position involves working with senior leaders and teams to drive business outcomes and improve operational efficiency.

The Technical Product Owner will be responsible for managing a portfolio of business-facing applications, driving investment and large operational spend. They will work closely with stakeholders to ensure features are delivered to commitments, and products meet service levels and are secure and resilient by design.

This is a leadership role that requires program management skills, technical expertise, and strong people leadership skills. The successful candidate will have experience managing complex projects, applications, and suppliers, as well as providing technical and commercial thought leadership.

The ideal candidate will have at least 7-10 years' delivery experience as a senior IT business partner and IT manager, with expert stakeholder management and influencing skills across both business and technical functions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a team onshore and virtually, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Ensuring the quality of service and operational stability, including IT risk and compliance management.
  • Delivering service improvements and providing input to service management strategies.
