About the Role:
The Coordinator Integrated Stormwater will assist in the development and lead the implementation of Manningham's stormwater management strategies, including the Stormwater Management Plan and the Integrated Water Management Strategy. This role will involve working closely with the City Infrastructure team and other internal stakeholders to ensure that Manningham's stormwater systems and drainage infrastructure are well-maintained, sustainable, and aligned with the council's strategic goals.
Your key responsibilities will include leading a team of technical specialists, overseeing the delivery of high-quality stormwater services and projects, and providing expert advice on integrated stormwater management developments and drainage matters. You will also be responsible for liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure all services are delivered to a high standard.
About You:
You are an experienced leader with a strong technical background in stormwater and drainage engineering. You bring a future-focused approach to water management and have a track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects. Your leadership style is collaborative, empowering your team to achieve outcomes of excellence while managing competing priorities. You also have the ability to present technical information clearly to a wide range of stakeholders.
The successful applicant will have a tertiary qualification in a technical or relevant engineering field, combined with experience in stormwater management, drainage engineering, or infrastructure planning. You will possess strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team. In addition, you will demonstrate a proven ability to develop and implement policies, strategies, and project plans, while also excelling in stakeholder management and working effectively with consultants and community members.
