Retail Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Floor Manager to join our team at Next Gen Talent. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for driving sales, leading a team, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales growth and exceed KPIs through effective team management and coaching
- Assign tasks, ensure proper training, and manage employee schedules
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and maintain a positive shopping environment
- Monitor stock levels, organize displays, and coordinate with the purchasing department
- Implement promotional displays, arrange products for maximum sales, and ensure proper signage
- Enforce safety protocols, maintain cleanliness standards, and address hazards
- Monitor sales metrics, identify trends, and implement strategies to increase revenue
- Address floor issues, such as equipment malfunctions or staffing shortages
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and store policies
- Serve as a liaison between upper management and floor staff, conveying directives and providing feedback
- Provide ongoing training to employees, identify areas for improvement, and foster a positive work environment
Requirements:
- Previous retail management experience, with a focus on profit and loss, sales forecasting, people management, stock control, and visual merchandising
- Confident decision-making and the ability to react quickly in diverse situations
- Leadership and staff management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite for data interpretation and input
- Passion for maintaining a strong and positive culture, with a focus on employee recognition and development
- Drive for results, with a history of exceeding sales targets and KPIs
