The Role

This role provides an opportunity to work as part of a vibrant, open, and supportive team environment where you will be responsible for providing technical solutions and cost-effective legal technology services to internal lawyers and external clients.

Responsibilities

  • Data Processing: Electronically process data to support ediscovery and legal reviews.
  • Database Administration: Administer, maintain, and update electronic and hardcopy document management workflows and Ringtail databases to ensure document integrity and security.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot complex and problematic data.
  • Consulting and Advising: Consult and advise clients and partners on technical issues related to database, electronic discovery, virtual data rooms, document review, and document management.
  • Project Management: Project manage from A to Z, including scoping, planning, costing, scheduling, risk assessment, and implementation.
  • Technical Coaching: Contribute and share ideas for new strategic legal tech initiatives and act as a technical coach/mentor to lawyers and clients.

Requirements

  • Qualifications: Have an Information Technology/Computer Science degree or diploma, or Law or similar qualifications relating to legal information management or legal technology.
  • Experience: Have 2+ years experience in information management/information technology gained in a law firm/accounting firm or legal technology/litigation services provider.
  • Technical Skills: Have proven experience using data processing tools such as EDT, Nuix Workstation, and strong knowledge of web technology, databases (MS Access, Excel, SQL Server, HTML, XML, PowerPoint, and MS Project), windows, legal processes, and document management.
  • Communication and People Skills: Have outstanding communication and people skills.

Salary: $75,000-$130,000+, plus benefits, in Sydney.
