An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operations Manager to join their team across a busy retail portfolio, based on site with a high-performing centre management team. You will hold a position of experience and leadership, ensuring compliance, occupational health and safety (OHS), and tenant relations are at the forefront of your mind.

Your day-to-day duties will involve:

  1. Contributing to the operations team to drive collaboration, promote customer service, and foster community relations.
  2. Developing and implementing sustainability initiatives and best practices to minimize the environmental impact of their properties.
  3. Providing project coordination services for investigations and upgrades as required, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  4. Monitoring and directing contractor performance to ensure high-quality output and adherence to contractual obligations.
  5. Managing, developing, and implementing strategic asset management plans for their properties, focusing on long-term value creation.
  6. Developing plans to facilitate continuous quality improvements and enhance the value of their properties.
  7. Preparing operational and capital expenditure budgets to ensure effective financial management.
  8. Coordinating tenancy de-fits and new lease fit-outs to maintain a high level of tenant satisfaction.

To be considered for this role, you must have previous demonstrable experience in an operations and facilities role, ideally within a retail property environment, with a strong understanding of compliance and risk associated with the position. Technical qualifications would be desirable, coupled with exemplary people skills, a vision to lead and inspire, and the ability to manage your time effectively.
