Risk and Assurance Expert
This pivotal role plays a critical part in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of integrated health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) management systems.
As a subject matter expert, you will drive compliance through internal audits and contribute to risk management initiatives, ensuring alignment with ISO standards and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver clear and actionable reports from audits and due diligence activities
- Maintain certified HSEQ systems across all subsidiaries
- Monitor and update compliance frameworks in line with legislative changes
- Validate and maintain risk profiles within HSEQ systems
- Document initiatives that enhance operational performance and efficiency
About You:
- Tertiary or vocational qualifications in Health, Safety, Environment, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years' experience in HSEQ roles, with a strong focus on auditing and compliance
- Certified Lead Auditor in HSEQ Management Systems
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks
- Experience engaging with regulators and external audit providers
- Familiarity with enterprise risk management systems
- Industry experience in mining, manufacturing, or heavy equipment is desirable
