About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety and Risk Manager to join our team. This role will provide operational and advisory safety support to our business, with a primary focus on preventing accidents and injuries by creating a safe work environment.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of workplace health and safety principles, including hazard management and risk assessment. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams at all levels.

Responsibilities include:

  • Implementing and monitoring our Safety Strategy
  • Collaborating with managers and teams to ensure effective implementation and alignment with business imperatives
  • Partnering with operational teams to integrate health and safety into daily operations
  • Supporting the reduction of workplace injuries through incident investigations and root cause analysis

Key qualifications include a qualification in Workplace Health and Safety (minimum Certificate IV), as well as experience in a similar role. A Diploma in Workplace Health and Safety is highly regarded, as is possession of an iCAM certificate.
