About the Role

Zurich Insurance Company is seeking a skilled Technical SME Portfolio Specialist to join our SME General Insurance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify opportunities to drive growth and performance within the SME portfolio.
  • Develop and implement underwriting strategies to maximize growth opportunities and mitigate underperforming segments.
  • Collaborate with the Platforms team to design and implement business rules to drive efficiency and automation within the SME segment.
  • Work with line of business heads to develop and enhance SME products and proposition.
  • Develop and deliver training to drive technical underwriting excellence and capability uplift across the SME underwriting teams.
  • Manage review and updating of underwriting guidelines.
Requirements
  • Strong technical experience in commercial underwriting.
  • Portfolio or product management experience.
  • Track record of developing and executing to deliver underwriting results.
  • Familiar with the relevant LOB wordings and rating tools.
  • Ability to analyze data to develop ideas and test assumptions.
