Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to provide expert advice on asset management and facilities management. The successful candidate will have a strong background in delivering advisory services related to assets and facilities.

  • The role involves collaborating with senior advisers to deliver project outcomes, providing asset management and facilities management advice, and reviewing client service delivery models against industry best practice.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Preparing lifecycle and whole of life cost models.
  2. Undertaking Due Diligence reports for Asset Management and Facilities Management Services under PPP models.
  3. Assisting in the undertaking of building condition audits.
  4. Assisting in providing advice on building maintenance, including preventative and reactive maintenance, minor works and life-cycle replacement strategies.
  5. Procuring services and drafting contracting and procurement documentation.
  6. Drafting presentations and agendas for workshops with clients and stakeholders.
  7. Drafting reports, aligned to MBM format and structure.
  8. Contract administration, including transition management, performance reviews, audits, contract variations, and general contract management.
  9. General duties such as accurate and timely completion of timesheets and compliance with policies.
Requirements

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience in delivering Asset Management and Facilities Management Services either in the public or private sector.
  • A tertiary qualification across Building, Asset Management or Facilities Management (or related discipline).
  • Commercial experience across the Asset Management and Facilities Management procurement lifecycle.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong analytical abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Project).

Desirable skills and experience considered to be of benefit include;

  • Accreditation with a relevant industry body.
  • Proficiency in data analysis.
  • Experience with computerised facilities management or asset management systems.
  • BIM training or experience.
  • Experience of implementation or working with recognised international standards such as ISO55000 or ISO41000.
