Strategic Asset Manager

We are seeking a skilled asset management professional to lead our team in delivering high-quality solutions across the shipbuilding value chain.
The successful candidate will provide expert guidance and leadership in asset management, ensuring alignment with ISO 55001 standards and strategic objectives. This includes developing, implementing, and enhancing Asset Management Plans, processes, and systems to support lifecycle management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing expert guidance and leadership in asset management across SSA, ensuring alignment with ISO 55001 standards and strategic objectives.
- Ensuring consistent application of the Asset Management Framework across SSA and supporting partners, maintaining compliance with relevant standards and procedures.
- Promoting collaboration across SSA and Austal to support integrated asset management practices and continuous improvement.
- Designing and delivering asset management training programs to build awareness and capability across the organisation.
Requirements for this role include:
- Demonstrated and successful asset management experience.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as asset management, maintenance management or engineering.
- Hold a CAAM Accreditation (highly desirable).
- Solid understanding of the shipbuilding value chain (desirable).
