Health, Safety and Environment Manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering a culture of safety and excellence in a leading renewable energy business.

This role requires an individual with advanced skills in HSE management, including implementing and ensuring adherence to health, safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing project-specific risk assessments and management plans.
  • Conducting site visits for compliance and audit purposes, supporting incident investigations and client audits.
  • Leading project-specific risk workshops, training programs, and management plan development.
  • Verifying plant and equipment competencies for safe operation, adhering to OEM and calibration requirements.
  • Assisting in the development and improvement of the company's HSE Management System.

Requirements for this position include:

  • Advanced Diploma or equivalent experience working within a heavy industry / construction / major projects environment.
  • Excellent project and program management skills, coupled with outstanding time management and analytical abilities.
  • A 10/4 roster from Brisbane or Regional QLD is required.
  • Travel to and from site in work time may be necessary.
