Senior Business Development Manager

Lead strategic initiatives to drive business growth across renewable energy and fuels sectors. Manage complex commercial negotiations, develop stakeholder relationships, and oversee project feasibility studies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Strategically lead business development initiatives to expand market share in renewable gas and biofuel projects.
  2. Manage a team of business development professionals, providing guidance on project feasibility, commercial structuring, and stakeholder engagement.
  3. Develop and execute strategic partnerships with key industry players, including gas network operators, energy traders, retailers, and government agencies.
  4. Lead the negotiation of complex commercial agreements, including project development agreements, offtake agreements, joint venture structures, and international partnership frameworks.
  5. Oversee project feasibility studies, coordinate cross-functional teams, and provide strategic input to policy development and regulatory consultation processes.
  6. Manage project portfolio optimisation and resource allocation across multiple development opportunities.
  7. Prepare investment proposals, board presentations, and strategic planning documents for executive management.

  • Proven track record of success in business development, particularly in renewable energy and fuels sectors.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in mentoring and guiding professionals.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with ability to build and maintain relationships with key industry players.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with ability to navigate complex commercial negotiations and project feasibility studies.
