Renewable Energy Project Originator

Description:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that contributes to the origination and early-stage development of renewable energy projects, including wind, PV, and BESS.

The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders and assist in site identification, screening, land access agreements, grid connection solutions, and early-stage planning processes.

We are looking for a skilled professional to support project progression from site identification to feasibility/planning studies. Key responsibilities include collaborating with technical teams, negotiating landowner agreements, managing external consultants, consulting with local authorities, and preparing Environmental Impact Statement documents.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in project development, renewable energy, or a related field.
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and GIS software is beneficial.
