We are seeking a skilled Desktop Assessor to join our team at Auto & General. As a Desktop Assessor, you will be responsible for managing allocated claims from start to finish, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough desktop assessments of insured properties using virtual assessing and/or causation reports provided by our panel suppliers.
  • Produce detailed reports, determining cause, coverage, damage, and best repair methods.
  • Review scope of works and expert reports to ensure the most cost-effective and timely method of repairs.
  • Negotiate and define the scope of work and associated costing with key stakeholders.
  • Manage end-to-end claim management, ensuring consistent adherence to key performance measures (KPIs).
  • Submit reports, review scope of works, and documentation in a timely manner, as per set SLAs.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working within the insurance, building, or construction industry is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional customer service and supplier relationship management experience.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
  • Ability to prepare scope of works, quotes, and estimations is extremely advantageous.
  • Confident using technology.
