Job Title

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Staff Physical Therapist to join our team in providing exceptional care to patients with physical and functional deficits. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and work collaboratively with other disciplines to facilitate successful patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' condition, capabilities, and progress to develop tailored treatment programs that meet departmental, institutional, and third-party reimbursement requirements.
  • Treatment Implementation: Develop and implement comprehensive individual and group treatments, consistently demonstrating clinical competence and adhering to professional and departmental guidelines.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and caregivers regarding evaluation findings and management of care recommendations, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to arrange for appropriate follow-up care and facilitate successful return to home and work environments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current Commonwealth of Massachusetts license or ability to obtain license prior to start.
  • CPR certification prior to starting.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to effectively interact with patients, families, and various members of the healthcare team.
  • Strong analytical abilities sufficient to evaluate patients' condition, capabilities, and progress to develop appropriate treatment programs.
