We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team working in the DHUB and DLAP programs.

The Perfect Candidate:

We are looking for someone who is committed to empowering communities for sustainable growth and positive social impact. As a facilitator, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our Programs by facilitating workshops for school students and learner drivers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Deliver sessions to Aboriginal students in partner schools.
2. Maintain respectful relationships with community members, consult on the needs of Aboriginal youth, barriers to accessing support and issues negatively impacting school attendance, retention and employment.
3. Incorporate local Aboriginal knowledge, protocols and practices in activities.
4. Identify and promote employment opportunities.
5. Assist participants with training and employment activities that align with their career plan.
6. Support the practical elements of pre-employment activities including digital literacy, job applications, mock interviews, job search seminars etc.
7. Respectfully identify and assist with facilitating solutions to barriers to full participation for individuals.
8. Assist participants to take the learner's tests and other activities associated with gaining a driver's license.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must be able to pass a Police Check and Working with Children check, have a full driver's license and vehicle.
