Business Solutions Analyst

Hamilton Island is seeking an experienced Business Solutions Analyst to join the IT team. This role involves acting as the pivot between end-users and IT to ensure business/user requirements are delivered in IT solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Work with users and other Architects to define application requirements and specify an optimum design
  • Meet with user groups to gather and analyse end-user requirements
  • Develop functional specifications to design and document desired system outcomes
  • Produce technical specifications to communicate user requirements in technical terms
  • Recommend suitable software packages and analyse systems and data
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing to ensure system efficiency, functionality, and user friendliness
  • Prepare material and provide training and assistance to end-users following implementation

About You

You will have advanced skills and considerable experience in evaluating equipment and software options, a good understanding of the current hospitality IT systems environment, and project planning and specification skills.
