Academic Director – Strategic Operations

This is a key leadership position at an independent school, requiring strategic thinking and exceptional communication skills.
You will lead academic operations that support a strong culture grounded in Christian faith, wellbeing, and high academic standards. This includes leading the development of operational systems and procedures across K–12, managing school calendars, timetables, activities, and major events, and overseeing relief staffing.
As part of the Executive Team, you will contribute to strategic planning and policy development. You will work closely with the Principal, teaching and non-teaching staff, and the broader school community to foster a culture of excellence and care.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement academic operations strategies to support student growth and achievement.
- Lead the management of operational systems and procedures, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage school calendars, timetables, activities, and major events, ensuring seamless execution.
- Oversee relief staffing and ensure adequate coverage for student needs.
- Contribute to strategic planning and policy development as part of the Executive Team.
- Collaborate with the Principal, teaching and non-teaching staff, and the broader school community to foster a culture of excellence and care.
