Lead the Workday Functional Team

This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal leadership role — working across functional workstreams, guiding the delivery team, and ensuring the program aligns with business objectives.

You will work closely with project managers, offshore leads, and key stakeholders to drive quality outcomes — without being tied to day-to-day configuration. But when things get complex, you are not afraid to dive in, problem-solve, and lead by example.

The ideal candidate has 8–12+ years of experience in Workday implementation, with hands-on exposure to functional modules, and a strong understanding of Workday HCM, Core HR, Compensation, Payroll, Time tracking or other modules.

  1. Coordinate the end-to-end management of Workday functional workstreams across the program lifecycle.
  2. Partner with stakeholders to ensure business requirements are accurately reflected in functional designs and processes.
  3. Collaborate with project managers to maintain project health, ensure timely delivery, and proactively manage risks and dependencies.
  4. Guide offshore and onshore team members on delivery expectations, blockers, and best practices — you are their go-to sounding board.
  5. Review key deliverables for consistency, completeness, and quality, raising flags before they become issues.
  6. Facilitate design reviews, testing plans, and process validation to ensure scalable, user-centric outcomes.
  7. Act as a trusted advisor when challenges arise — whether it's navigating scope decisions or validating a proposed solution.
