Reliability Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team.

  • The selected candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our underground mobile fleet.

  • This includes developing and maintaining maintenance schedules for underground mobile equipment, such as loaders, trucks, and ancillary equipment.

  • The engineer will coordinate planned maintenance activities with mechanical trades, supervisors, and operations teams.

  • Maintenance schedules will be updated regularly in the CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System) to ensure accurate job plans and work orders.

  • The engineer will identify and order required parts and materials to facilitate efficient work completion.

  • Equipment performance and maintenance trends will be monitored to drive improvements in reliability and availability.

  • The engineer will assist in developing and implementing preventative maintenance strategies.

  • Safety, environmental, and company policies will be upheld in all planning activities.

About You

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Previous experience in a maintenance planning position within an underground or heavy industry setting.

  • A strong understanding of underground mobile mining equipment maintenance principles.

  • Proficiency in using CMMS systems, such as Pronto, SAP, Pulse, or similar software.

  • A trade qualification in mechanical, heavy diesel, or a related field is preferred but not essential.

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • A commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
