About Us
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Maintenance Planner to support our team in maintaining and optimising mobile mining equipment.
As a Maintenance Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our underground mobile fleet. You will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities to minimise downtime and maximise equipment availability.
- Develop and maintain maintenance schedules for underground mobile equipment, including loaders, trucks, and ancillary equipment.
- Coordinate planned maintenance activities with mechanical trades, supervisors, and operations teams.
- Maintain and update the Computerised Maintenance Management System with accurate job plans and work orders.
- Identify and order required parts and materials to ensure work is completed efficiently.
- Monitor equipment performance and maintenance trends to drive improvements in reliability and availability.
- Assist in developing and implementing preventative maintenance strategies.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company policies in all planning activities.
About You
Previous experience in a maintenance planning role within an underground or heavy industry environment is essential.
A strong understanding of underground mobile mining equipment maintenance is required.
Proficiency in using computerised maintenance management systems is necessary.
A trade qualification in mechanical, heavy diesel, or related field is preferred but not essential.
Excellent organisational and communication skills are required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are necessary.
A commitment to safety and continuous improvement is expected.
