Senior Financial Crime Compliance Specialist

The role of a Financial Crime Compliance Advisor is to strengthen our financial crime compliance framework through risk assessments, policy support, and cross-functional collaboration. The advisor will work closely with various teams to identify and mitigate financial crime risks.
Key responsibilities include leading and maintaining financial crime risk assessments, supporting the development and refinement of compliance policies, monitoring adherence to financial crime procedures, reporting findings, contributing to training and awareness initiatives, and engaging with internal and external stakeholders to support compliance outcomes.
To succeed in this role, you must have a strong understanding of financial crime obligations, including AML/CTF legislation and AUSTRAC guidance. Experience in financial services and banking is also essential for assessing risk across diverse products and third-party relationships.
This position requires an analytical mindset to identify issues and offer practical solutions. The ideal candidate is collaborative, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where their insights make a real impact.
