Job Description

As an Academic Developer, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational landscape at CQUniversity. You will work closely with teaching staff to design innovative resources, advise on teaching practices, and promote effective learning principles that put students first.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in tertiary education, excellent communication skills, and experience in curriculum design. They will also possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and be proficient in university learning management systems (e.g., Moodle).

Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality courses and units using various teaching styles, leading scholarship and innovation in learning and teaching, and contributing to research and strategic initiatives that align with the University's educational goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
  • Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching/Education or willingness to complete
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with university standards and academic writing
  • Proficiency in business support software and learning management systems
