Senior Educational Leader Position

The Senior Educational Leader will play a pivotal role in supporting the educational and wellbeing needs of students with complex behaviours and diagnosed mental health conditions.

We are an inclusive educational institution catering to students in Years 7-12. With a focus on strong relationships, high expectations, and tailored support, we help every student build their capacity, connect with their learning, and find meaningful post-school pathways.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategically lead and manage staff to foster a positive school culture and promote professional development among teachers.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate curriculum programs that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Promote student engagement and wellbeing by developing strategies that support a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Build strong relationships with students, staff, parents, and the wider community through excellent communication skills.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in educational leadership with a track record of improving teaching, learning, and classroom practice.
  • Knowledge of curriculum, assessment, and student welfare with the ability to design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs.
  • Strong educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and engage students, staff, and parents.
