About the Role

The role of Compliance Officer involves managing merchant and product compliance risk for Payment Acceptance. It requires addressing scheme, industry, and regulatory requirements and compliance related risk, control gaps, and being the central point of contact for Schemes and internal stakeholders for all Scheme and Merchants regulatory related compliance enquiries, requests and escalations.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Support activities required to manage merchant compliance and assist product owners, frontline teams, and other internal stakeholders on compliance related matters
  • Contribute and influence the development of merchant acquiring regulatory/policy related matters and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage compliance to new and existing scheme mandates and conduct impact analysis
  • Identify possible breaches, investigate, assess, and manage incidents and breaches and work with stakeholders to improve processes and strengthen controls
  • Demonstrate understanding of applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures
