Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to oversee major electrical packages on one of the largest renewable energy projects in Australia.

This is an exceptional opportunity to join our project at an early phase, where you will be responsible for the full scope of electrical design and supply scope packages from planning through to construction and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, direct, and manage electrical design and supply scope packages to ensure timely delivery, within budget, and to specification.
  • Pursue opportunities for design optimisation/value engineering.
  • Review project documents such as design drawings, specifications, inspection reports, and changes, taking appropriate action when required.
  • Identify, mitigate, and escalate risks to enable the project to meet its schedule and obligations, minimising risk and maximising opportunities for cost avoidance and/or reduction.
  • Manage subcontractors during the construction and commissioning phase.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Hold a degree qualification in Electrical Engineering.
  • Have experience in delivering electrical packages of works on major infrastructure, energy, O&G, or power generation projects.
  • Possess strong project management and client-facing skills.
  • Demonstrate strong Commercial acumen.
