The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the warehouse, ensuring timely delivery of products to customers, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Main Responsibilities- Implement best practices in warehouse management to improve service quality and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to optimize delivery processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate stock levels through regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy.
- Reconcile discrepancies between SAP and 3PL inventory systems to prevent errors.
- Manage pallet accounts effectively to minimize losses.
- Develop weekly production plans in consultation with the production team.
- Maintain warehouse infrastructure, including racking, turret trucks, forklifts, and charging stations.
- Analyze issues, identify root causes, and lead teams to resolve problems and implement improvements.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies to maintain a compliant workplace.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role in manufacturing or food industry.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in supervising a team.
- Strong commitment to safety.
- A continuous improvement mindset.
