As a Specialty Chef, you'll play a vital role in shaping the success of our restaurant, working closely with our Executive Chef to lead the team and maintain the highest standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor daily operations, payroll, costs, and guest satisfaction to ensure seamless execution of our culinary vision.
  • Participate in menu planning and development to drive innovation and consistency in our offerings.
  • Assist with rostering and leave applications to maintain a well-organized and efficient kitchen environment.
  • Develop training plans and support daily learning to enhance the skills and knowledge of our culinary team.
  • Participate in shift briefings to ensure a smooth handover and maintain open communication with the team.
Requirements
  • Senior Chef experience in a 5-star environment or large restaurant, with a proven track record of driving quality and consistency.
  • Previous experience in a high-quality Chinese restaurant, with a deep understanding of the cuisine and its nuances.
  • Experience in managing food and labor costs, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for continuous learning.
  • Ability to maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness within the kitchens, with a focus on safety and compliance.
  • Basic computer skills, with proficiency in relevant software and systems.
  • Full working rights to commit to 40 hours a week, including day shifts, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
