About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Monitor daily operations, payroll, costs, and guest satisfaction to ensure seamless execution of our culinary services.
  • Menu Development: Participate in the preparation of menus that showcase our culinary expertise and creativity.
  • Team Support: Assist with rostering and leave applications, develop training plans, and support daily learning to ensure the growth and development of our team members.
  • Shift Briefings: Participate in shift briefings to ensure a smooth handover and maintain open communication with the team.
Requirements
  • Senior Chef Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience as a senior chef in a 5-star environment or large restaurant.
  • High-Quality Food Operation: Previous experience in a high-quality food operation with a strong focus on consistency and quality.
  • Quality and Consistency: A proven track record of driving quality and consistency, with a passion for a diverse range of food and a keen desire for continuous learning.
  • Hygiene and Cleanliness: Ability to ensure a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness within the kitchens.
  • Food and Labour Cost Controls: Previous knowledge of food and labour cost controls to optimize our culinary services.
  • Personality and Skills: A warm, naturally engaging personality that takes pride in delivering a memorable product, with basic computer skills and full working rights to commit to 40 hours a week.
