The Customer Experience and Support Officer will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the City Assets Department, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality customer service, maintaining a positive council image and resolving customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Support the team with administrative tasks, including report preparation, correspondence, and data entry.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve processes and implement technology initiatives that enhance service delivery.
- Assist with tasks such as purchase orders, assessments, timesheets, and permits.
- Relevant qualification in office administration or a minimum of 5 years' experience in an administrative support role.
- Current Class C Driver's Licence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft products, including Dynamics, Word, Excel, and Windows programs.
- Strong customer service skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the capability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Skilled in report and correspondence writing, with proficiency in iShare, Pathways, Dynamics, and SAP.
- An attractive remuneration package, including a salary range of $69,728 (Grade D, Step % super).
- A permanent full-time position with Local Government conditions, including long service leave after 5 years, annual salary increases, and generous parental leave options.
