Lead Personal Security Clearance Analyst Team Leader

Job Summary:
As a Lead Personal Security Clearance Analyst, you will take the lead in building and leading a high-performing team responsible for handling complex personal security clearance processes across various security levels. You will assess clearance cases with attention to detail, manage a complex process, and provide sound data-driven advice on clearance outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Process security clearances meticulously, adhering to protective security policy frameworks and best practices.
2. Conduct thorough quality assurance checks on personal security files, ensuring alignment with standard procedures.
3. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver efficient and effective caseload management and execution.

Requirements:
1. Extensive vetting experience in government or similar high-security environments (essential).
2. A minimum Negative Vetting Level 1, with the opportunity to upgrade as required.
3. Certificate IV in Government (Personnel Security Vetting) or equivalent qualification.
4. Leadership experience in leading teams with a drive to mentor and lead enthusiastic security analysts.
5. Attention to detail and ability to scrutinize extensive data to identify potential security risks.
6. Quality assurance commitment to uphold high-quality standards in vetting processes and documentation.
